I don't know about you, but to my way of thinking the best body moisturizer for very dry skin should be able to do just 2 things "extremely well".

They are -- stop moisture escaping from your skin, and have lots of moisturizing natural oils, antioxidants and emollients that do actually penetrate deep into your tissue cells. It's no good using ingredients that aren't up to scratch... otherwise your just wasting your time and throwing your money down the drain.

So the secret is to find an affordable line of body and facial creams that tell you the whole story on the substances they put in their products. Why they are good and why they put them in their moisturizing cream, and lastly how active and effective they are.

Now that you have a better idea of what features to look for in the best body moisturizer for very dry skin, you need to do some research and evaluation so you can make a good well informed selection.

Don't take the easy option and just wander into your pharmacy or supermarket and buy just any old moisturizing cream. Take some time to make a good decision on what will benefit your skin type and complexion the most.

I have found these natural ingredients to be very good -- seriously consider trying them.

Avocado oil is what's called an anti-oxidant (which means it fights oxidation in cells) it is very compatible with your own body's oils. It penetrates very deeply into your tissues making it an excellent moisturizer. Avocado oil has been scientifically proven to stimulate an increase in the amount of soluble collagen proteins in your dermis layer.

Babassu oil is from Brazil and commonly known as the "tree of life" because it contains many excellent properties. The oil is clear, stable and can penetrate into your tissues very quickly to deeply moisturize and soothe your skin.

Most of you probably haven't heard of D-panthenol. It is a pro-vitamin, humectant, emollient and excellent moisturizer. It helps repair damaged tissues and can protect your skin from sunburn, it also gives some relief from sun damage.

Grapeseed oil has some great natural tissue moisturizing properties and helps to firm, tighten and tone because it is an astringent.

There are far too many other good natural moisturizing ingredients you should try -- to cover in detail in this short article. So also keep an eye out for Macadamia oil, Cynergy TKĀ®, Phytessence Wakame and Nanobelle CoenzymeQ10 and you'll be on the right track.
